About Our Church

Mission

A family of believers who's mission is to flip conventional church upside down. Where leaders are the greatest servants. Where the love of God rules and reigns. To equip believers to the work of ministry, through raising up a body that works together in love, with Jesus being the prime example. Uniting the body through working together in the gift of the Spirit as apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors & teachers. All in an effort to be a generation that speaks & spreads the gospel in truth and love. To see the Kingdom of God expand.

Vision

Church Upside Down will be a Jesus-centered family, learning and growing together, empowered by the Holy Spirit. CU will become a church that leads in unity across denominational & doctrinal bounds. Pushing the boundaries of conventional worship & teaching. Being a leader in conveying the gospel to our generation, in worship, through music, servitude, & purity. CU will grow by equipping mature leaders in the community that effect their families, jobs, & social circles. Ultimately, influencing culture through an exponential & pure love.

God the Father

God the Father is the creator and sustainer of all things, and He created the universe in love. He created man in His own image for fellowship and called man back to Himself through Christ after the rebellion and fall of man.

The Son

Jesus Christ is eternally God. He was together with the Father and the Holy Spirit from the beginning, and through Him all things were made. For man’s redemption, He left heaven and became incarnate by the Holy Spirit through the virgin Mary; henceforth, He is forever one Christ with two natures—God and man—in one person.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is God, the Lord and giver of life, who was active in the Old Testament and given to the Church in fullness at Pentecost. He empowers the saints for service and witness, cleanses man from the old nature and conforms us to the image of Christ. The baptism in the Holy Spirit, subsequent to conversion, releases the fullness of the Spirit and is evidenced by the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit.
